CPL Products is Europe's leading manufacturer and wholesaler of smokeless solid fuel products for the domestic heating market.

Manufacturing smokeless fuels since the 1940's, in 2011/12 CPL manufactured over 300,000 tonnes of solid fuels, over 4 times more than our nearest competitor.  With the broadest product range, manufacturing over 22 products, including brand leading fuels such as Homefire and Phurnacite, CPL is the undisputed market leader in the sector.

CPL Products exports over 60,000 tonnes every year into major markets in France, Germany and Ireland.

CPL Products is at the forefront of product development.  In 2012 it launched the revolutionary Ecoal50 smokeless coal, manufactured using 50% renewable material.  The renewable material is plant matter that absorbs the same amount of CO2 during its life, as is released when it is burnt.  The result is a high performing fuel that burns 38% hotter than house coal, whilst emitting 40% less CO2 and 80% less smoke.
